The nearest airport to Tresgrandas is Santander Airport (SDR). From the airport, you can take an ALSA bus directly to Torrelavega, which takes about 45 minutes and costs approximately €2–4. Taxis from Santander Airport to Torrelavega take 17–22 minutes, with fares around €65–80. Private transfer services are also available and take about 23 minutes.
Santuario Kunturi also offers a shuttle service from Santander Airport at specific times and for an additional cost. Guests must book this service in advance to secure availability.
Once in Torrelavega, you can continue by local transport or taxi to reach Santuario Kunturi, located in the peaceful Valle Oscuru.

There are a few train routes that can bring you close to Santuario Kunturi, arriving mainly at Torrelavega station. Although this is not always the fastest option and availability depends on your point of departure, trains from Santander, Valladolid, Palencia, and other cities connect to Torrelavega throughout the day. From there, you can continue your journey to the sanctuary by taxi or pre-arranged transport.
